A Journey is a refreshing blend of sounds ranging from cinematic pop, chillwave, and rollicking country to alternative rock, combined with uplifting, encouraging lyrics, written to bless and inspire you! These songs have come out of the last decade of Devon's life, inspired by numerous friends, life events, and the Bible.

In December 2017, with the help of several good friends, Devon was able to independently release his first studio album as a solo artist. The songs were written and developed over the past decade of his life, spent in Canada, Australia, and Switzerland. Devon was blessed to learn from, collaborate, and perform with various talented musicians over the years that taught him a lot and inspired him to write his own songs. Each song has a special meaning to Devon and he has great memories from where each song was born and how it carries a story of its own from it’s conception to completion. Stylistically, the album is a mixed bag of genres and a refreshing blend of sounds ranging from cinematic pop, chillwave, and rollicking country to alternative rock, combined with uplifting, encouraging lyrics. Devon hopes these songs bless you as much as they have him and that you enjoy the music from start to finish.
